Typical Cost by Unit Size
We price storage unit cleanouts the same way as any other job — by how much space the contents take up in our truck, not by the hour:
- 5x5 or 5x10 unit, lightly packed: usually a quarter-to-half load, $175–$400.
- 10x10 unit, packed: usually a half-to-3/4 load, $325–$550. This is the most common storage cleanout we run.
- 10x15 or 10x20 unit, fully packed: usually a 3/4-to-full load, $400–$700.

What to Do Before We Arrive
Honestly, not much. You don't need to sort, organize, or clean anything first — that's what the cleanout is for. The only real prep is deciding whether you want to do a quick walkthrough of the unit yourself first to pull out anything you want to keep, and making sure you'll have the access code or key available on the day of the appointment.
What Happens to What's Inside
Once you confirm the price, we handle everything — we load it all out, sort anything donation-worthy along the way, and haul the rest for proper disposal or recycling. If there are a few specific items you want kept, just point them out during the walkthrough before we start.
